History

It all began in 1983 when two Danes – Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen – translated their unique empathy and innovative energy into designing jewellery, sold mainly at festivals. With a great love of music and people, they created jewellery that reflected their deeply held values of spontaneity, intimacy and authenticity. Pilgrim jewellery was, and remains, truly of the moment.

Jewellery is our passion; it is all about dreams, style, heart and soul. We take pride in keeping the brand authentic – staying true to who we are and where we came from. Pilgrim is still about going out and seeking new things, new ways and new adventures. It is not only the destination that matters, but also how we get there. We are a living brand in constant motion and development.

It has been an amazing journey, and Pilgrim has become a recognised international brand, with a Scandi-cool approach to design. We have grown into the fashion and jewellery scene, and the journey is far from over – we are here to stay!

Just as in the beginning, it is all about love for people and jewellery – made by hand and heart.
